Computers have significantly increased the possibilities of blind people in recent years. With the help of special additional devices, such as Braille displays, or screen readers, blind people today are able to operate computers and to use them for activities that they were previously unable to do independently or only with great effort. The ability to handle information and communication technology has therefore become a key skill.
