Papenmeier Braille displays
Computers have increased the possibilities of blind people significantly in recent years. With the help of special additional devices, such as braille displays or screen readers, the blind are now able to operate computers and use them for activities that they previously could not do independently or only with great effort. The ability to deal with information and communication technology has therefore become a key qualification.
We have been developing our own Braille displays at Papenmeier since 1975, which we successfully sell on the medical aid market under the BRAILLEX brand. Our current portfolio includes our own Braille displays as well as high-quality models from other manufacturers. Here is a brief overview. BRAILLEX EL 80c
This Braille display has been specially developed for the area of use of a functionally optimized workstation with a focus on usability and work efficiency for the user.
BRAILLEX EL 40c
Every blind workplace has different requirements. We have created our Braille display BRAILLEX EL 40c for flexible and mobile use on the job.
BRAILLEX Live family
With our three BRAILLEX Live models, we have created a line that individually addresses the technical everyday life of a blind user and offers everyone the optimal aid in connection with the smartphone and / or the notebook.
Lectures on braille displays
During the digital SightCity 2021, we are offering you daily interesting lecture events as video conferences in German.
