INDEX Braille printers

An important element for integrating blind people into the workforce is Braille (blind writing). This tactile dot system, easy to feel with the fingers, is used almost everywhere today. Its basic form consists of 6 dots per character, resulting in 64 possible combinations. Braille texts can be created on a computer and printed out using a connected Braille printer.

Single-sided or double-sided Braille printing

Braille can be learned by anyone and is actually not that difficult! Single-sided Braille printing is especially well suited for learning Braille.

With INDEX printers, you can produce high-quality double-sided or single-sided Braille prints, printed on continuous paper or individual sheets, in contracted Braille or uncontracted Braille. Graphics and double-sided text are printed in a single pass, despite the different grids.

Convincingly easy operation

The settings on the Braille printer can be made using the control panel marked with Braille.

In addition, the printer can also be easily and conveniently operated via the browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome) of a connected computer.
