Workplace lighting

Light holds great importance—not only for daily work. Visual acuity and sharpness are directly linked to the quality of the light source used. Without a high-quality light source, seeing becomes tiring and detrimental to the eyes. Precision, well-being, and productivity suffer significantly.
Multiple studies with visually impaired individuals have shown that very good and proper lighting of reading materials leads to improved visual performance.
Especially working with modern TFT monitors can be very tiring for the eyes. These monitors have very high brightness levels. When the eye constantly switches between a brightly lit monitor and a dimly lit black print document, this becomes very exhausting over time. It is always advisable to individually test which lighting needs and light sources are most comfortable. By optimizing lighting, it is sometimes even possible to reduce the required magnification.
